MSOLU 阿茲海默症基因檢測，有助檢測者認識自身患上阿茲海默症(Alzheimer’s Disease)之風險，增加自身對疾病的風險管理。
ApoE基因位於人類第19對染色體，調節血液中脂肪含量，良好的脂肪代謝與清 除腦袋中致病的異常蛋白質沉積有密切的關係，因此與心臟血管疾病、腦中風及 阿茲海默症的發生風險有關。
ApoE基因在人類中具多態性，由三個等位基因（ε2、ε3和ε4）組成，參與産生三種不同的ApoE蛋白亞型：ApoE2、ApoE3 和ApoE4。每個人繼承兩個ApoE 等位基因，分別從親生父母各繼承一個，故有六種可能的組合產生。
帶有 ε4 基因會使此病發生的年齡提早，65 歲後每增加 5 歲便風險增加 1 倍，而帶有一個 ε4 與兩個ε4/ε4 者患病機率分別會增加 3 至 5 倍與 10 至 15 倍。從ApoE等位基因檢查結果判別是否為阿茲海默症的低、中、高風險者，及早預防及做好健康管理，有助降低晚發型阿茲海默症的罹患風險。
